Ashok Gopinath

Ashok Gopinath, chartered accountant by profession, is a finance and business advisory professional with more than three decades of experience across sectors including FMCG, textiles, property development, hospitality, contracting, financial services & strategic transactions.

Over the course of his career, Ashok has been involved in managing initial public offerings (IPOs), overseeing the journey from conceptualisation and structuring through execution. He has been based in Dubai for over 20 years, where he has held senior finance and management positions within prominent organisations.

Ashok worked as a consultant with Emirates Investment Group, Dubai, and was closely involved in the formation and development of a private joint stock company specialising in high-end property development and hospitality services in the UAE.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, Ashok played a key role in managing the financial strategy and execution of several major property development and hospitality projects. Throughout his career, Ashok has leaded numerous mergers and acquisitions of capital classes across markets including the UAE, Bahrain, Turkey, Nigeria, and Kenya.

His extensive international exposure has provided him with a strong understanding of complex commercial transactions, business expansion, and investment strategies across diverse industries.
