Atty. Ma. Cecilia S. Burayag

Cecilia’s primary practice areas are foreign investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate, immigration and banking law.

With extensive exposure to various areas of corporate and investment law, Cecilia has developed expertise in investments, corporate organization and restructuring, joint venture negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions. She has represented clients before judicial, quasi-judicial bodies and administrative agencies.

Cecilia started her law career in 1987 as a Junior Lawyer handling litigation in the then Philippine Banking Corporation. She honed her legal expertise as Head of Legal Department of various multi-national companies and regional headquarters. Prior to co-founding the Firm, Cecilia was Senior Vice President and Board Secretary at the Philippine Veterans Bank.

Cecilia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Public Relations from the St. Paul College of Manila in 1978, where she was a consistent Dean’s Lister. She then received her degree in Bachelor of Laws from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1985. In 2009, she received her degree in Masters in Public Management also from the Ateneo de Manila University. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1986.
